My second time here at Hankook jib. My friend and I had octopus bibimbap, doenjang jiggae and seafood pajeon for lunch. I ordered sikhye too. Good food, great ambience. Will I come again? Definitely.

Jeonju is the food capital of Bibimbap. The difference with bbb that I had in Singapore was the ginko nut, yellow like jelly, omelette instead of egg yolk on top but it had the usual of lotsa beanspouts, mushroom, spinach which I love. We also have the omelette with beef and raw beef tartare with slices of pear. We were the last customer and the restaurant was not busy for a Friday night. Thanks.
The mains were simple, yet delicious. The side dishes were also very tasty, except the bean sprout soup or whatever it was. That didn't have much flavour, but everything else was great. My seafood pancake could have done with maybe another minute or so of cooking because some bits tasted a tiny bit undercooked and had that raw flour flavour. In total I paid 30,000 won. I want to go back to try the raw beef bibimbap. I left feeling full and satisfied.
It made the Michelin guide for a reason. Pretty great bibimbap, the pancake and beef are quite tasty also. The atmosphere is open and vibrant, simple yet traditional. We had no issues getting a table as walk-ins.
had the yukhoe (raw beef) bibimbap and the seafood pancake - portion sizes generous, was enough for 2 people to share.
Before heading to Jeonju Hanok Village, we stopped by this Jeonju bibimbap restaurant. We ordered the 3-person set with yukhoe (beef tartare) and yukjeon (pan-fried beef slices). The portions were generous, and the yukhoe in particular was absolutely delicious.
